Kent Anderson

Kent Anderson is a multi-generational native of South Florida, a pilot, an Eagle Scout, and an award-winning filmmaker. Over the last ten years, Kent has created content while traveling the globe, focusing on the world’s most environmentally sensitive areas. He has coordinated aerial relief for numerous natural disasters worldwide and has recently focused his filmmaking skillset on creating awareness surrounding the Florida Wildlife Corridor. In 2021, Kent started an initiative that is granting over $100k to up-and-coming filmmakers in Florida to tell conservation stories through short films. He previously produced a film in Mozambique documenting the success of a counter-poaching unit standing between the largest community of poachers and the most significant remaining herd of rhinoceroses.

Kent will serve as the expedition’s documentary filmmaker.
